@Ebly It's definitely looking like it's in its death throes, sadly.
@Ebly Yeah, I appealed and within less than a minute they rejected my appeal and confirmed it was hate speech.
So I just got suspended from Twitter for "Hateful Conduct" because I suggested a Sunderland fan could buy some of Leeds' "donkey" players cheap in the next transfer window.
Seriously, this actually happened.

On this horrid Brexit anniversary, let’s recall the shame and calamity heaped upon the U.K. by the Brexit Party.
Here are the likes of Claire Fox, Nigel Farage & Ann Widdecombe turning their backs on the youth orchestra in the EU Parliament.

UK drops down 7 places on global corruption index after string of Tory government scandals. And as I am sure @transparencyuk@twitter.com understand, these are only the cases that we know about... https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2023/jan/31/uk-global-corruption-index-transparency-international-qatar-russia-brazil?CMP=share_btn_tw
For comparison this fiscal year the UK govt is spending:
£13.9bn on police and law courts
£60bn on defence
£15.3bn on housing & communities
£13.9bn on the environment
£54.2bn on education
£47bn on transport

So much for Brexit being about helping "the left behind"

@SkyNews@twitter.com Sometimes these numbers feel a little unreal and just float over our heads, but consider this: if Brexit is costing the UK economy £100bn per year, that means the govt is receiving roughly £40bn less in taxes EVERY YEAR.

Hancock just told #GMB that all the royalties from his book are going to NHS charities.
The £100,000 *advance* he received for writing the book however...
OMG, there's a third part to this Matt Hancock grilling, and @susannareid100@twitter.com is now piling into him over his claim that he didn't break the law by snogging and fondling his gf in the office.
He did & @AdamWagner1@twitter.com has confirmed it.
Hancock has been caught in another lie.
I sat through both parts of that interview, and if Matt Hancock thinks he's doing his public image any good by these transparently self-serving, PR stunts, he really has learned nothing about how to be an authentic human being with real empathy.
"If nothing else works, a total pig-headed unwillingness to look facts in the face will see us through."

Repeat after me: it's nothing to do with Brexit, and only the UK has had an economic hit from COVID and the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Matt Hancock is on #GMB, melting under the simplest questioning about breaking his own lockdown rules, and replaying his 'I'm a celebrity' line of "I want forgiveness"
"I have human frailties.... I fell in love... *fake sniffles*..."
Stomach churning.

Europe is about to ban diesel and other oil products refined by Russia. Trucks transport almost everything we consume, and they largely run on diesel.
With prices already up, what impact will the ban have on inflation and energy markets? @AP@twitter.com explains: https://apnews.com/article/russian-diesel-fuel-embargo-explainer-28b9043593c7cb92e032aa451c837b39?taid=63d81fda056e600001adf63e&utm_campaign=TrueAnthem&utm_medium=AP&utm_source=Twitter
