@jbowen Hi Jason! Passwords for password-protected feeds are stored in plaintext, as we need to send them as base64 in each request. Encryption wouldn’t help, so we recommend using disposable or app-specific passwords where possible. Do not use your main credentials.

We're observing elevated reports about SSL connection issues to Inoreader from users on Comcast/Xfinity networks. If you're affected, we encourage you to contact Comcast/Xfinity support and report the issue, as this will help bring it to their attention: https://xfinity.com/support/articles/report-blocked-website.

As a temporary workaround, you can try accessing Inoreader using our alternate address: https://us.inoreader.com. Alternatively, connecting through a VPN or mobile hotspot may also help.
