The house is crowded!
Meine Jungpflanzenanzucht platzt aktuell aus allen Nähten. Wird Zeit, dass ich die Zwiebelchen und die Kohlrabi auspflanzen kann.
Und: Ich fühle mich von meinen Paprikasamen veräppelt! 😅🤨
Ich hatte doch alte Paprikasamen, die nicht mehr richtig keimen wollten. Hab sie ja dann in ein Wasserbad gelegt und dann in die Erde gepackt, und zwar die meisten, die ich davon noch hatte, weil dachte, irgendwas davon wird schon noch aufgehen. Die ganze Zeit nix passiert und wollte schon die Aussaatschale entsorgen, da legten die Teile los, seit 2 Tagen kommen da Keimlinge raus.🤷‍♀️ Das ist die durchsichtige große Plastikschale auf dem einen Foto.
Naja, und in dem kleinen Mini-Gewächshaus sind jetzt 3 Sorten Tomaten, Kidneybohnen, Wirsing und Tagetes seit gestern in der Erde. Bald muss auch Zucchini noch ausgesät werden. Weiß garnicht, wo ich das noch unterbringen soll. 🙈😅

Merlin and other guides can call these little ones "completely nondescript" as often as they like; oak titmouses will still be wonderfully soft, grey, almond-y, kitten-like little songbirds. I love them.

Going to offer anyone a chance to be my #muse again. Will do a bunch of 4 x 6 pieces over next few weeks.
I like a good strong shadow & light as seen in above painting. I like 3/4, seen from behind, in profile, any interesting angle, and nice colors, style, expression…but no smiles!
I am not going to be trying for a portrait and exact likeness, but will hopefully get the vibe…bring me your confidence!

I’m sadly going to assume starvation. It was the only dog of their 3 dogs who was in a crate.

It was 9 days after Gene Hackman died that they were found.

Arakawa died a week prior to Hackman & she was next to the dog in the crate.

Poor dog was presumably without food & water for ~16 days, after 48 just without water it would have passed.

Given Hackman’s “severe Alzheimer’s” he may not have either registered or remembered Arakawa’s absence.

I remember that when my grandfather fell & broke his hip, my grandmother was so preoccupied with caring for him that she forgot to take her Coumadin & had 11 “small” strokes, severely effecting her memory & situational awareness. She had been my grandfather’s primary caregiver, making sure he & she took all their meds, ate all their meals, bathed etc. Because he was bed-ridden & her caretaking was suddenly unreliable, they both quickly declined. Thankfully my family was around & we caught it.

This is weird, until you learn Hackman had #Alzheimers.

Authorities revealed actor #GeneHackman died of heart disease & showed severe signs of Alzheimers a full week after his wife died of hantavirus.

Arakawa, 65, was found w/an open prescription bottle & pills scattered on the bathroom counter. Authorities linked her death to #hantavirus pulmonary syndrome.

Hackman, 95, was found in the mudroom. His death was tied to heart disease w/Alzheimer’s disease contributing.
