And asked the community to feed back about whether they'd like to do nothing, 'silence', or 'defederate'. The response was almost entirely in favour of silencing.

Today, especially after noticing that those two instances DO federate with an instance that hosts fascist content, we went ahead with that silence:

I realized I haven't really shared any of my art yet.

This is the golden llama statuette from Legends of Luisa Llama: The Verdant Slab. It does something very special when you find it on each level.

I think I'm getting the feeling that people are beginning to get it. This place was built on the premise that it listens to people that were not listened to on the other site, so they went and built what they needed. Now that everyone has had to come here you're seeing what we needed but was ignored. This is just a site. Think of what the outside world could be like if you listened to us there too. They're attacking the artists themselves, harassing, being generally naughty.

Unfortunately, because their passports are from the instance I'm at currently, there might be a defederation because the amazing individual playing Atlas keeping the mastodon.social sky up over our heads has been overwhelmed.

Well, at worst I guess I can move off Mastodon.social and ease the load while it's all getting sorted.

I think I'd do very poorly as a moderator on @mastodon.social.

I am more than a little salty at the individuals who think they're made of the super-de-dooper clevers because they're attacking all the wonderful creators on @Mastodon.art.

I would show as much mercy and kindness to them as they're showing to the creative community.

When one thinks in birb, it's hard to stop thinking in birb and start thinking in heffalump.

I'm seeing a lot of people thinking in birb not understanding that heffalump thought involves a lot of polka dots, flowers, and blocking self-important clowns.

Cheese anthropology is just one of my hobbies and just for my own pleasure although nowadays you can study it at Uni-oh to be younger!!
It is looking at the social and cultural side of cheese both present day and historically. The effects of geography, climate, wars, religion etc on cheese making in different regions.
Basically I am a ‘curd nerd’!!
