so obviously what i SHOULD be doing is reading books i already own so that i can sell them. however. what if. instead. i read a book that i know is going to go on sale later, so that i can buy it.

@annathecrow oh same, it never even occurred to me to try messing with calibre

typora has a nice interface, a little file browser on the side, and the theoretical ability to export to epub. HOWEVER i have never managed to get yaml metadata to work and it only works on individual files, so i would have to copy/paste every chapter file into one document and that sucks actually.

does anyone have any hot tips for easy GUI methods to convert a folder of markdown files to epub? i hate actually writing in scrivener but it's still got the easiest epub generation method of literally anything i use, i'm squinting at pandoc commands in powershell and suffering

@nightpool i don't normally track ao3 comments at all but when this one popped in my email it was just. such a weirdly specific complaint. and so fucking funny to imagine them googling for a translation, because surely the specifics of someone's horny babbling in their native language are very important for understanding the porn.

it'd be wild if they'd googled the fake language i made up for amazons and found the translation tho
