I feel people who contributed to Sharkey with the understanding that it would be used for Sharkey, have a right to be upset. It was promised and for now, I'm trying, very hard, to ignore the false narrative that it was not. It was.

I will not be thrown under the bus so someone else can save face. Now, the matter is resolve for now, and let us leave it "as is" since the documentation has been fixed.

All you've been doing is shitting on this entire project because the website to encourage people to join Sharkey (which as was stated above was NOT promised) is not active. Stop saying the whole "you can just make a quick website" because it's not that simple. Having a shitty website that was thrown together would not help the project at all. The website is not that important. the damn wiki link is not that important. What is important is continuous work to make Sharkey better, which is happening.

Sharkey is an amazing project and just because the priority is on making current users have a better experience instead of marketing to new users with a website, does not make it any less amazing of a project.

Sharkey is already running on the new servers that includes Shonk.social , the sharkey gitlab "activitypub.software" and other services needed for the project, that means the goal of using it for sharkey is already more than fullfilled and the servers are indeed being used for sharkey development
