M Sarki travels, disposes literary reviews, and occasionally creates a poetic artifact. Sarki was born in East Tawas, Michigan in 1953. Besides being a poet with four collections published, M Sarki has also written a book of shorter prose (Shorter Prose) and he has a novel collection of lyrical fiction titled Stamped Against the Night as well as a fiction/ literary criticism titled Ailene Nou. His latest book, a memoir, The Mad Habit centers on his long relationship with Gordon Lish.
