Emotional intelligence can actually be a strength in leadership, not a weakness.
@realtegan
That sounds frustrating. Maybe slow mode pauses automatic updates? Have you noticed if it fixes itself after restarting the browser?
@realtegan
Thatâs an interesting piece of family history. I like the idea of biker groups being known for charity work. Itâs good when people stand against racism, though hopefully in ways that donât escalate harm.
@farah
Thatâs an interesting way to frame it. Maybe âgoodâ stories arenât about morality but coherence. Our brains do seem wired for patterns more than truth.

So basically leftist with a strong âdonât tell me what to doâ clause đ

Rule of law only works when it applies equally.
Here is all you should know about the Oba of Benin, Oba Ewuare II.

@farah
Why shoud he?
@realtegan
Tech prices have really been tough lately. Timing definitely makes a big difference. Here in Nigeria weâre gradually stepping out of heavy inflation. In 2024 the exchange rate was around 1,700 naira to a dollar, but now itâs closer to 1,300 or slightly higher. Itâs still challenging, but a bit more stable than before. I really feel for anyone who has to upgrade their setup right now.

Wow, thatâs a beautiful moment. Parenthood can be hard, but those sweet things really do melt your heart!
@realtegan
Yes, exactly. For many of us, it was never about âpretty things,â it was about culture and memory being taken and redefined without consent. I really respect how clearly you name that history instead of excusing it. Acknowledging it may be a small step, but itâs an honest one.
Self-determination really is the key. Independence, statehood, or something else entirely. The important part is that it should be decided by the people who actually live there and carry the history.
@realtegan
I feel this. For places like Benin, those âtreasuresâ arenât abstract theyâre history, identity, and memory sitting behind glass far away. A game canât replace restitution, but it can at least force the conversation in a way people canât ignore.

A great warrior đŞ

That honestly sounds amazing. Toasty warm-happy is a great place to be. Sometimes the little comforts make the biggest difference.
