@amy probably not, but perhaps you could sell it as an expense related to an art project as an independent artist. You would be surprised what I have managed to claim against my tax bill as an artist.
@amy well in the context of sex work it does make sense to classify it as a business expense.
@cfg unfortunately for me that was perpetual unemployment in spite of having a professional degree. UBI that actually was enough to cover gender affirming procedures deemed cosmetic would have saved me a lot of grief and misery. Though I'm thankful that I'm in a much better place now.

The fascists love to demonize queer ppl for "making everything about sex" or "making their gender their whole personality" but every time I go to a queer event I am struck by how precisely they have this backwards. Cis society is profoundly sexualized, and literally every interaction is pre-coded with assumed gender. In a queer space, you purposefully never make assumptions about who someone is or what they're up to, so interactions are much *less* coded by gender and *less* intrinsically sexual
