@augieray Nothing has changed. Conservatism in this country at least, has always been about enforcing law upon others while enjoying freedom from enforcement from those same laws.

Trump's policies were largely to blame for the surge in immigration to the US which Republicans used to fear monger and dehumanize people. Trump is now using that to murder Americans who refuse to anoint him messiah.
