Even after I was allowed to enroll during open enrollment, I was just informed that I'm losing health coverage at work bc i dropped to part time to take care of my kids while my wife works full time.

Yes this is just COBRA and I can still go on my wife's plan or look in the marketplace for a shitty catastrophic plan. But no matter what, it's gonna be more expensive and worse.
