I’ve often wondered if it is the incredible scrutiny of the Italian media that makes them@second guess themselves so much. I think it’s a part of their problem. Also, they never look like a happy team. It’s all so tense. Let’s hope they loosen up and properly fight at the front this year. Instead of gifting wins

@vitaminsludge@mastodon.ie @VModifiedMind I thought Schumacher was one of the best drivers we’ve seen but he let himself down by what I see as plain cheating. What he did to Damon, driving into him to win the championship… I’ll never get over that. Can you imagine Lewis doing that? Possibly Max in a mad moment, but this was calculated. These days, such action would get you disqualified. So not a fan. And yeah, it was a boring era.

@VModifiedMind I never liked Vettel. In fact I rather disliked him. But then, annoyingly, over the last couple of seasons he turned into a half-decent guy. And yes, I’ve been hoping season after season that they will do well. Russell drove the wheels off his car before the move. I love Lando. Going to be interesting to see how Oscar fits into the team. More@than anything I want a championship fought over by more than two teams.

@VModifiedMind @vitaminsludge@mastodon.ie Schumacher raced for Ferrari and I never liked him. He cheated to win. So that has tainted Ferrari for me. I supported Hill. I like Saintz tho, and always pleased when he does well. And don’t mind a Ferrari win if knocks the top teams off the podium.

@VModifiedMind #F1 I chop and change but my all time favourite is Jenson Button. From the present teams I love McLaren and Lando. I supported Max for a long time, the same for Lewis, and although I admire their driving, I always prefer an underdog. So this year was supporting Perez and Russell. I also love the battles and rivalries. Preferring Horner vs Wolff than Max vs Lewis. Other fave drivers: Alonso, Albon, Ricciardo (before he left!), Ocon and Tsunoda.
