#PicoGUS can now emulate both a CDROM drive and Sound Blaster in parallel, smoothly playing both CD audio and SB sound effects simultaneously. Still a lot of polish to do before a new firmware release but I'm excited!! This is MechWarrior 2 with bin/cue stored on a USB stick plugged into the PicoGUS

PUPDATE: The dog got tangled in the wires and removed the entire computer setup from the desk. Broken front bezel, wonky power button. Other than that, machine is okay.

Their dog got -inside- the PC, chewed wires and killed the PC.

They asked if I have a solution to that problem.

That dog is lucky it didn't chew one of the high amperage lines, or else the problem would have solved itself. 😟

My 17yr old was ranting last night about teachers encouraging the use of AI and how stupid it was.

They had done a quiz about a film, and the quiz had been ai generated. They spent most of the lesson pointing out all of the mistakes in the quiz and the woefully incorrect answers.

It became an impromptu lesson on why you *shouldn't* use AI.

"I hate everything about it" she finally said.
