@ancientjames why not both?
@MostlyHarmless as a Brit, rather challenging actually. this is the least insulting thing I could come up with:
Oh good gracious its getting late. I reckon I'll be off before its too dark. Been lovely seeing you. See you again soon. No no I will. Maybe you could come visit me next weekend. Not to worry. Ok don't miss me too much. Byee.
Ahh. Missed the train. Right, well then *slaps thighs* best make it a sleep over!
Last week was a park swim, this week was a mud run. Oh joy.
#parkrun
@unfa could be coil whine? My previous GPU would make a similar sound in Blender whenever I moved around the scene
Expedition 33 is great. Story is all there, feels great to play, definitely challenging. Music is beautiful. SFX are meaty. Writing is full of chatacter, with lovely whimsical moments. A great balance.
The graphics though. On my pc, stunning. Performs well at 1080p. Some janky artifacts but the art direction and atmosphere is great.
On Steam Deck? Whole other story. The quality is downgraded so much to be unrecognizable, just to hit the minimum framerate. Such a shame.
@OpenComputeDesign android annoys me (pretty often) but I don't hate it
@bkuhn obviously the phrase is mostly used to be dismissive of people seen to have strange or extreme opinions, which is also not useful.
@bkuhn idk, I think it's more about putting down whatever is consuming you and connecting with nature every now and then.
If fedi isn't getting in the way of healthy habits, then yeah, "touch grass" is useless.
Over all the obvious issues with AI. I honestly just don't see the strategy. I feel like surely Google's overview is undercutting Google's own business by not directing to ad-filled websites.
Weird.
@neil I fondly remember that time almost like a vacation I went on. My profile picture is a selfie I took when I built my avatar.
@neil I find it very immersive, back when I had the time for it, I could easily get lost in another world.
If it's designed well. There are maybe 3 apps worth using at the moment.
If the Steam frame supports installing APK's I wonder how that will work. It'd be real cool if I could install FinDroid and open it in a virtual theater. More than that, could have AntennaPod and listen to podcasts while playing games... 🤔
Wonder if the Steam one can give us the answer
Would you get a Valve Brain Computer Interface?
Steam Frame is real!! Ahhh
@seanb depends. Generally speaking, live action in original language because the lip sync is offputting. Animated film, I prefer dubbed unless the dub is really bad (or unavailable)
When broadband goes down, I really appreciate my local Jellyfin server
Barely made it to #parkrun today. After struggling to get out of bed, with stuffy nose and rough throat, rushing to the train, I got there a couple minutes late... Still, made it the whole way around in about 30 mins according to my watch. Woop!
