An almost spiritual experience at Glasgow's #BarrowlandBallroom last night to watch & listen to the unique #Lankum. A guy asked me when I was buying some merch who was in the crowd, I replied punks, rockers, blue grass, folk, trad. Why do they have such a following, they and their music is grounded and honest. Best live performance I have seen since #Nirvana and I felt incredibly connected to my Irishness. #BonoIsAPox (you had to be there) #freepalestine

Ah, Groundhog Day again. The day when Americans, who constantly demand more frequent and more accurate weather forecasts from trained meteorologists turn to an inaccurate (albeit kind of cute) large rodent for a forecast (which is wrong 60% of the time) of how the spring will turn out.

@petergleick hang on, if you flip a coin, you will be right 50% of the time. To be wrong 60% of the time seems like an achievement (although the opposite of the intended outcome).
