Big week for open access and scholarly communications conferences. I popped into #OAI13 earlier this week (among other things to support @openbookcollect) and will be dipping into #JanewayOA23 for the next couple of days.
Memories from yesterday's #OAI13 Geneva watch party: in person watching of the sessions, fruitfull discussions and the traditional share your drink made it a nice addition to the online conference.
The conference continues today online and in the engagement hub where you too can exchange with other participants
In #OAI13 second presentation today, Nokuthula Mchunu (African Open Access Platform) will talk about the challenges that Open Access present to African researchers and institutions, and more generally to the Global South
