My phone has an assistant feature that records the call. When it announces "This call is being recorded" literally every spam call immediately hangs up. You would think my number would be automatically tagged or something, but they just keep at it. I have lots of one second recordings of a muffled beep then silence.

Scammers and robocallers: We need to ramp up volume. Nobody answers the phone anymore.

Everyone: I don't bother answering the phone anymore. It's always scams or robocalls.
