Looks like we're up to four assignments again—so it seems we’ll keep going a bit longer!
It seems like Pull Request Club might be winding down. This month, for the first time since we launched in 2019, we've only sent out one assignment. Six years isn’t a bad run!
@choroba Thanks so much!
We have reached 300 assignments completed just before the end of the year! Amazing achievement by all participants. Thanks for everyone who joined Pull Request Club! #2024

Long time no see! Here's our "annual" report for 2021, 2022 AND 2023!
March 2024 assignments are out!
February assignments are out!
Two more! Assignments are out :) This brings January assignment count up to 9.
Two people came back & got brand new assignments after this new change! Hope to see more :)
Implemented a new feature that times out assignments that are open for more than a year.
130 assignments were open (assigned from January 2019 until December 2022).
Contributors whose assignments are timed out received an email with details. Hoping they will come back and get more assignments in the new year 🎄
December assignments are out!
Yesterday I received a reminder from @PRC that I had not touched the October assignment. Looking at the repo again I was reminded that there weren't any outstanding bugs or issues, but also I had no good ideas for what features could be added.
I decided to get some inspiration by copying/pasting the module description from CPAN to ChatGPT and asking for advice on what features to add!
The response was just kind of OK, but provided a good starting point for a fresh idea I will work on.
November assignments are out! At the end of this year I will write a report.
Calling out all Pull Request Club members!
It's a good chance to go back and finish your old open assignment this month. I'll give out October assignments through the entire month if you finish your earlier assignment for #Hacktoberfest!
You will receive an open-reminder email very soon.
