@fluffy The video I was talking about had someone wearing a "sponsor shirt" and people could spend money to write their company's name on it. First name he put on there was Surf shark. Every time the shirt was visible it was skipped

@fluffy I watched a video before and even just the sponsor's name spoken skipped ahead, mid sentence. It made the video almost unwatchable

it's wild to me how so many sponsorblock taggers are so zealous about being anti-sponsorship that they'll go through a video and remove every single mention of a sponsor with a scalpel with little tiny two-second skips, which ends up being way more disruptive to the video than the sponsorships themselves

like c'mon people, you're removing ad reads, not every reminder that commerce is a thing

It is 7 AM CEST. The EU citizen initiative calling for a ban on "conversion therapy" (here meaning, pseudoscientific attempts to "cure" LGBTQs) is less than 250,000 votes from success. This is astounding, the votes have like, *tripled* in a week.
