@anon_opin Termux exists.
@luhmann Honestly don't think Americans have the energy or wherewithal to fight back. Talk yes, Fight back no. Many are only beginning to learn how their country really works now that the mask has been pulled off.
For Americans #war happens on TV, it's talked about online, the military does it in far off places, it's news, it's entertainment, it's outrage = complete isolation from reality.
Every US president has been a war mongering, international law breaking tyrant, not just Trump.
@tante But that's bad for Microsoft's profit. Microsoft is the primary funding behind every policy the US government makes, every policy think-tank that matters is primarily funded by Microsoft. At every level of US policy there is Microsoft funding it. The US government will thus never implement any policy that harms Microsoft.
That, and getting enemy countries to use Microsoft (and US tech) products is vital for US intelligence and spying efforts.
@jaycee @georgemonbiot.bsky.social Starmer is a trilateralist and internationalist, not a nationalist. He's also not a socialist in any sense of the word.
And Corbyn is controlled opposition. To see that clearly, don't judge him by what he says, judge him by all the things he actually did during his time as leader.
@PeterSoukup #Maduro of #venezuela obviously isn't a "dictator"
Ask yourself this question: what kind of dictator willingly hands out weapons to the country's civilian population?
Answer: None of them, because if they really were a dictator and oppressing their own people, those weapons would first and foremost be pointed at him and a coup d'Γ©tat would be next.
When US wants #war you will always get told on repeat: This person is a dictator!!! We invade for democracy!!! #propaganda
@Gargron Sanctions do not achieve desired results.
Having said that, the day the EU becomes strong enough to do this is the day they will have achieved real freedom and independence. The current EU leaders won't do this, because they are lapdogs for America. EU may vocally complain about US action, but they still ultimately serve US interests.
@anon_opin Poverty is an artificial creation, it isn't meant to be solved, it's meant to instill fear, because without the fear of poverty people wouldn't work. That's how you keep people at the bottom expending their energy and labour for the benefit of people at the top. That's the only reason poverty exists.
@mttaggart It's deflection designed to shut down the conversation and shift the blame.
@jonathanhogg I'm with you!
@anon_opin Buy from a butcher instead. It's often cheaper and you can get any cut of meat you want however you want. They also know the exact source of their meat and by buying from them you're supporting independent businesses.
Also, the best place to buy eggs and potatoes are straight from a farm, it's cheaper and you can taste the difference and see the health of the chickens. π
@JohnAltringham That is pretty awesome!
@anon_opin And you really do not want to know how long it takes most takeout food places to change the oil... π€’
@diemkay Palantir is a front company for CIA. Data given to Palantir is absolutely data given to US intelligence.
@anon_opin A few years ago this was true but not anymore. There's more youth going to church now in UK, but they are almost all immigrants. Churches will survive if immigration survives.
The Catholic Church specifically has hordes of wealth. It could survive indefinitely with or without new Christians.
@nerdsticker True, but if you learn how propaganda actually works, you will be far more resilient to it.
@BafDyce If you're familiar with Ledger syntax or double entry book keeping, Nanoledger is the android equivalent on F-droid. Can be as simple or complex as you want to make it.
@tzimmer_history The American government is, and has been for the longest time, bought and paid for by special interest groups. It's those special interest groups that the US government serves. America lost 'Democracy of the people' a very long time ago, yet for some unknown reason, nobody in America noticed.
