Of late I have mostly learned that not everyone is as honourable as me and my pals
Work: S.Lecturer with @dundeeuni interested in education #a11y #AugComm #EdTech & #AssistiveTech.
Rest: Family, sailing, cycling, clean energy. Views my own.
Of late I have mostly learned that not everyone is as honourable as me and my pals
More shocking than what was already known.
Misogyny, neglect of duty, the devastating effects on staff and students could have been avoided with better management.
Dundee Uni needs fresh management.
About to learn details of the independent investigation into the University of Dundee's financial crisis.
It's left staff & students completely lost at sea, their calls for transparency ignored.
I'll be scrutinising senior UoD officials in Education Committee next week.
@maggiechapman Thank you for your support, it is greatly appreciated
Text of my letter is here:

I have again, written to Scot Govt about Dundee Uni's ongoing crisis.
Compulsory redundancies are still on the table despite the voluntary scheme in place. A £12million loan hasn't been accepted by Uni Court. And Fair Work principles definitely aren't being followed.
My letter:
Proposed cuts to services for disabled people will devastate lives. And they’ll create costs & pressures on other services. No one wins from these cuts. Many will lose. We cannot afford this short-sighted approach.
Solidarity with all fighting against Aberdeenshire council cuts!
@millerdl Looks like anti-tank sea defences
@maggiechapman @dundeeuni thank you for your support today we appreciate it.
Published data on switch reaction times and showing the potential of EMG (who wants to work with me to develop the next generation of EMG?!).

Took a long time to get this written up and over the finishing line, but glad I did.
Picard management tip: In a strange new environment, be wary of making changes until you understand more about what's going on.
#Naqi neural earbuds will let you control things using brainwaves and/or micro-gestures. If so, they could be revolutionary for anyone unable to use their voice or body to control their tech, smart home, and such:
