@AcornPark wow thanks so much. I actually didn't have an American Graffiti type of teen life as I was married at 16. I did love the late 50s and enjoyed wearing ponytails, cardigans, and saddle shoes. Oh and the music was wonderful! Now that I've told you more than you want to know I'll quit.😄 sorry.

@AcornPark was Steve Allen on TV a long time? I was like 11 when Elvis did the show and in 1958 we left for Japan for 3 1/2 years so those years of TV were lost to me except for a few shows the military network aired.

@AcornPark lived in San Angelo considered to be west TX but it's hot, dry, and about 5 hours from any big town. Too old to move now unless TX succeeds (which nutters are always trying to do), then we'll be compelled to move to New Mexico or Colorado. Meanwhile we're making a short trip to Memphis and Shreveport for fun, daughter is driving.🙂
