Fx (https://fx.wtf) is a nice alternative to `jq`. Same ability to quickly dig and extract values out of nested JSON but comes with a nice UI traversing the data structure, showing the syntax, copying, and immediately using. In other words, you don't have to remember all of the syntax, let the UI show you.
Doesn't hurt that the commands are Vim-like too.
Do wish it had an XDG configuration, though (uses environment variables instead).
