The US government subcontracts it’s creation of currency to a private bank (Federal Reserve), it’s not a Federal government entity and it does not have any reserves. The Fed Res creates entries, loans it to us and charges us interest based on that illusion, then we print whatever amount the entry was. What is inflation?

Could be wampum. Or hemp plants. Or gold or silver, just about anything is more stable than the Fed Res currency. We’d be fools to make it digital.
