Nice! Maybe I'll try to pick it up sometime then!
How's Tango? Been getting into trick taking games lately and saw Tango at my local game store, but wasn't sure if it was worth while.
There's a ton of trick taking games on BGA I'd love to try. If you ever want to play you should find me on there. I'm also samlane86 there.
I've been playing a lot of trick takers lately, but I've actually yet to try The Crew.
Definitely LOTR. We're finishing up the campaign soon and it's been a blast.
I played a couple games recently and was beaten terribly in both roles. But I'd be down to try again.
Oh interesting. I live a bit north of Stockholm, but I didn't know about this. I should check it out sometime.
Have you tried Evergreen, the updated version of Photosynthesis?
Welcome to the wonderful world of Root. Once you get the base game down, I can definitely recommend picking up any of the expansions. There's 6 more factions that are all really fun and make the game that much more replayable.
Can you recommend any of the games in particular?
Have you played Evergreen? It's a update on this game and is also quite nice.
I remember watching this on a best of Jack Benny VHS when I was a kid. There's a very funny bit (which I believe is this scene) where Benny is interrogating Bogie and Bogie starts bouncing in his seat singing the Lucky Strike jingle.
Oh I forgot about that ability! I haven't played the Scoundrel much, but I always just think of the Scorched Earth ability.
What are the items placed in the clearings for?
Happy belated birthday! It was my birthday yesterday too and we also played a boardgame - Root on TTS with some friends. Good times! 😊
I borrowed this from a local board game library last year. It was a lot of fun. The illustrations alone make it worth it.
I'll be there on Saturday the 20!
