I think this piece hits the nail on the head. The reason I (and probably many other people) are so down on AI isn’t because of any inherent problem with the technology but because the only future I can envision with it is one where it’s been used to replace as many people as possible so companies can make more money. This opinion piece talks about it in relation to creative fields but I don’t think it’s limited to them
