@mcc This happened to someone I know in the last election. When I heard about it, I gave him instructions on how to cast a provisional ballot but he had already returned home after standing in line and wasn’t going to go back!

Heard from a student at CMU that they have just one polling location for both CMU and UPitt in Pittsburg, PA. Most students couldn’t take advantage of early voting since that location was more than an hour away (don’t the authorities know that students don’t have cars)? How can this be in a state now run by a Dem Governor?? We need every single vote in PA! #ElectionDay #Pennsylvania

@yurnidiot please don’t discourage people from answering phone calls from unknown people … at least until the election is completely over. It is critical that people pick up their phone to find out if perhaps their ballot had an error, their signature couldn’t be verified, etc. Thousands of volunteers sign on to do “ballot curing”. #election2024 #BallotCuring

While all the focus is on Harris/Trump, let’s not forget that she cannot do much without a majority in Congress. Living in CA or WA, people get complacent. While there have been several news reports about the competitive House races in CA and NY, no one mentions WA-3. Close race with a Dem incumbent Marie Perez. I have done door-knocking, phone-banking and calling voters in Vancouver, WA where someone set fire to a Dropbox losing nearly 1000 ballots! It feels good to do something #democrats

@inarticulatequilter I cannot ever imagine buying fabric online. I understand that people live in places without access to fabric or quilt stores. One solution could be try your hand at dyeing your own fabrics. It’s really fun, outcomes can be surprising and they make beautiful quilts. Here is one of mine:
