Some Gai Pad Krapow minus the holy basil. Great flavors that I'll be using in other dishes
@rygorous Happy Holidays~
@demofox interesting, lambdas I agree useful for a task system. was never fan of iterators tbh they seem..extra
@demofox genuinely curious, besides function and operator overloading, what other C++ features are actually good to use?
Just had my last day in my current job! feels freeing
@pervognsen its hilarious to me that you posted this today, I tried ReFantazio yesterday. Does the combat evolve past the puzzle like structure?
honestly? ray tracing was a mistake. I don't want realism, spend that budget on more game mechanics or something.
Bruh jon blow is posting memecoins on twitter obviously its a joke but its one of those "its a prank bro" type things, wtf is going on. That website really destroys people's brains.
@rygorous good luck! safe travels
@molecularmusing hence the question if you have a part time place :) based on my UK visa I can do an extra 20 hours per week on top of my regular work
@molecularmusing that and also some of the Live++ stuff is super interesting :)
@molecularmusing ayooo are you hiring lmao
@rygorous going back to Germany?
Its hilarious to me that Hello Kitty is a small child and not a cat
@pervognsen this looks like a nice editor, glad they have vim bindings, hopefully they have the regular bindings.
@pervognsen > size of things? I imagine things might become large? or is that the system will be quite deterministic such that you only keep track of inputs?
@pervognsen am I following this right so far:
1- An immutable store that keeps copies of every file (blobs) needed.
2- An Interpreter that gets fed through the store.
3- The interpreter has an ISA that uses 32 bits addresses?
Does that mean 4 would be a language that sits on top of these etc? You also mentioned a "build"/"Task runners" system would that be primarily used to load files/track file changes?
I'm primarily trying to keep up with this but some questions like how would you deal with>
@pervognsen Thanks!
@pervognsen is there a particular reason for choosing BLAKE3 besides its parallelism? could this become a bottleneck at large scale for big files?
