Dear people of the US, guy from Germany here. Just a few thoughts from a country that once was ruled by a Nazi Führer.

If your Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) only enforces terror and injustice against unwanted minorities - it becomes the Gestapo.

If the National Guard only guards a dictator's interests - it becomes the SS.

If the president only presides over a repressive regime - he becomes a Führer.

Zizou, a back and white bengal / Maine cross cat is curled up on a suspended window seat looking out across a rainy street. She’s nestled into some cosy looking blankets and her head (with magnificent eyebrows and whiskers) is raised a bit as she was washing and I interrupted her). I turned the heating on this morning, which probably enhances her comfort.

While I wish the current climate was a cutscene, I'm afraid it's a dungeon raid.

I am lying on the floor of my living room (this is where we cuddle)--a console table with white baskets on my left, a coffee table with area rug underneath to my right (stuck in the middle with you). I took the photo with the phone right in front of my face to provide the vantage point of how I saw her. She has an annoyed look on her face, probably because I was laughing at her cute blep, and disrupted the cuddle session.

@shenwa I'm proud of you dude – taking the leap isn't easy. I'm about to hit 5 on Oct 12th. Dealing with the same with regard to care for the people, but struggling with the "why we do it".
