I have a CGM and for the past few months, I have been using the Freestyle Libre 3. I went online to order my next month of sensors, since I installed my last one today.
Imagine my surprise when I actually received Dexcom G7 sensors when I picked up my prescription.
I don't mind: the Libre and the G7 are both plug and play with no additional component, unlike the Dexcom G6 system. I just need to install and run a whole new app now.

The first project was this beautiful design by Brianna of BZ Creations (@/bzcreations on IG). She makes projects I want to stitch and hang on my wall or give to my friends. Projects with *felt* which I really want to try. This one was *perfect* for one of my friends in Los Angeles (AND SIMPLE), so I stitched it and mailed it to her this week as a very, VERY belated birthday present. 😅 The techniques are basic and my satin stitch is *terrible*, but it looks ok from 5 feet! 😆 (3/3)
I started by following embroidery artists that make tutorials/kits on IG. I learn best by getting stuck into it. I now have a bunch of different kits and materials, a bit of a stash, to help be inspiring and motivating. I decided I would always have at least one project #embroidery project that is specifically NOT blackwork or cross-stitch so I can learn techniques and get over my hesitation. 😅
My progress is slow, since I only do this "on the side", but I can tell I'm learning. Whee! (2/3)
My Lola cross-stitched as a hobby and my mum did a little, so I was introduced to the craft when I was little. I cross-stitched off and on for years. A year and a half ago, I learned about #blackwork #embroidery and it became my primary interest. It wasn't hard to pick up, especially with help from the cloth's grid. I've always found other embroidery scary because of the techniques and materials used compared to cross-stitch, but I'm determined to get rid of my fear this year. 😅 (1/3)
