Why are there so many unused toothbrushes on the beach? It is difficult to imagine the journey they took to arrive on a remote Galloway beach unless they have been part of a cargo spill and floated to our shores.
The sea sorts buoyant marine debris and deposits in collector bays. This remote location has gathered an abundance of buoys with registration codes identifying home ports of Peel, Douglas, Fleetwood and Brixham.
