I love 3M's products, they always made so many things that I liked to use, from connectors to tapes and lubricants.
Their IDC headers rate among my all time favourite style of connector
I make things together with Miles "Tails" Prower - I have ASD, deal with it!

@philpem Whether you're pulling wire or laying pipe, 3M's got ya covered! :dragnsmirk:
I could have done with those recently, but ag, my employer doesn't give a flying coin about me or my wellbeing...
My friend @julesthefox made this cool #accessibility tool for people who experience selective mutism. If this is you or someone you know please check out their Communication Cards at

Before today's era of modern DevOps, CI/CD, code reviews, and all the other "modern" bullshit, developers were permitted to have a sense of humour, and were permitted to put Easter Eggs in their products/software.
Those days are gone forever. The man wants to scrutinize everything you do, and then some.

"the quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog. but since most foxes are red, who really cares.
@TartanLlama
Love the book title and it's design and subject, want to get a copy, adore the cat too.

WTF did I just read?
Furry-like drama in the hackerscene?
@philpem
That reminds me of this gem:

Crowdfunding to buy Commodore... That's going to end about as well as crowdfunding to buy Acorn, Jupiter Cantab or Sinclair... Lots of drama with the first "licence denied" reply.
I dunno, crowdfunding to buy a company just seems trashy. Buy it with your own money sure, but expecting a fandom to pay for your personal ego quest? Bleh.
Seymour Cray would have smiled I'm sure
Update:
This garbage American corporate I work for, closed my HR complaint, and told me that "it must just be me" yet today in the meeting others complained about being blocked.
So they do it at random and deny it.
It is time to go.
I am being handed my hat.
Fucking arseholes!
This whole AI thing is like being in a restaurant with a fancy waiter who has one of those giant pepper shakers, only it's full of bird poop and anthrax and he keeps asking "would miss like a little AI on her pasta?" with every dish that comes out... and when you say "NO" he starts grinding anyway and won't stop until you physically knock him over.
I kinda love how the Xilinx XC2000/XC3000 keep popping up. FPGAs with everything.
Building a Debugger is now officially released!
It guides you through writing a whole native x64 debugger from scratch, dispelling all the magic and teaching you a ton about operating systems as it goes.
Even if you don't care about writing a debugger, you can read it to your cat.
Yes I am quiet.
Some know the fight I am fighting.
Some of you have had to fight for your transgender rights. Well I now know what that feels like, sorta.
At this time I am fighting for the rights of every neurodivergent person at this faceless corporate I work at.
What began as a grievance about the ridiculous IT restrictions, has now become a fight for the right to be neurodivergent, and to be respected and accommodations made for me in the workplace.
Please note that I am likely going to lose my job in this fight, but, that's why I am preparing now, to make sure I have something lined up should they decide to see if they can pull the carpet out from beneath me.

I cannot stand it, and now I am forced to part with money every month to keep the fucking ads off my mobile devices too because Google... Google will shove an ad in everywhere, if they could, they'd shove ads up your colon, and even send ads into interstellar space.
Google, a tech company, now doing what many have done due to their greed, became an ad-agency of enormous size.
