To all Fediverse server admins:

You and your users will probably see a lot of follows from firefish.social. Please don't be alarmed, this is going to be the result of everyone migrating their account at once. Since there are only ~2500 users here, it hopefully shouldn't be too much pressure on your servers, but to be safe, it's slightly staggered to avoid bombarding a server all at once.

With Google’s #WebEnvironmentIntegrity, the threat to the open web is greater as it could be used to encourage #Microsoft and #Apple to cooperate with Google to restrict competition in the browser and the operating system space.
This should be prevented from moving forward.

It kinda boggles my mind that Firefish is more popular than Friendica... like, that was one of the first non-Mastodon Fediverse services I learned about when I first joined Fedi. And they do great stuff too. I'm excited to see where things go from here.
