On Friday I brought home my second cat - Mochi (formerly Stella, but the name is too similar to Bella).
Mochi is a super chill little calico who got a bit overweight at her foster home, so I hope I can switch her over to some healthier food soon. That is, if she eats properly. I'm currently struggling to get her to eat, I even went as far as getting her "cat milk". (It's just lactose-free milk with extra taurine and inulin.) But she drinks it so that's at least something.
She's originally a "stray" from Romania - which actually means, she is a cat that got abandoned in the streets of Romania, picked up by a rescue and then brought to Austria because they have kill shelters in Romania but we don't. So she's used to people and comes right up when I enter her room.
Introductions are .... going. It's too early to really say if they will get along. Bella is a bit of a bully at the moment and every time she sees Mochi, she hisses and growls at least once. (I've been told this is normal for the resident cat.) So I'm scent swapping as much as I can. Because neither cat really lies down on a blanket I'm basically doing it with toys and a washcloth.
So yeah, that's my cat situation right now.
Ah and, here is a non-blurry picture of Mochi. She usually moves a lot.
