I like this, and it was harder to take than it should have been. Shaky hands, a difficult position to take (it still looks lopsided to me), it was dark, it was raining, it needed a wee bit of cropping to even it out…. I do still like it, though. Let’s call it. “Two Brothers”.

Watching a bog-standard hospital show, and someone said something completely off the cuff and that wasn’t especially dwelled upon that absolutely resonated as a recovering champion of acute self-loathing:

“You know what? There are people in the world that deserve you.”

Let that sink in for a minute and remember it.

I got laid off, along with about 10% of the company.

I'm in good shape with savings and was feeling burnt out anyway, so it's time to enjoy some time off, and figure out what I'm doing next.
