@blytherenay Thank you ! I was mostly wondering about training, practices to follow to understand better how to adapt writing to a game needs. I'm starting from nothing so of course my questions are for now far from "how to get in the game industry". I'm aware that even if I could write the best novels it's not enough to apply for a job. :)

@rubereaglenest That's a great idea ! I was participating with friends to new D&D campaigns to understand better tabletops and then create a lore of my own. But interactive fiction may be easier to practice alone. Thank you :D

What would be your advices to an aspiring game writer (28 yo) , who wants to start a whole new career from scratches? (Except "Learn a proper English", I'm already working on this 😭 )
I'm studying with some books (like Jesse Schell "the Art of Game Design") participated to a workshop and started to read and write novels in English. Should I directly ask questions to game writers about their path and history? I'm always afraid to bother them.

Today I nonchalantly started and ended an apocalypse in my DnD campaign just with my Tiefling's charisma. Now I want to make her retire and never steal a cursed weapon ever again or cross unknown portals. Imagine a mix between Oblivion and Dragon Age Inquisition Trespasser plot, but manipulating pnj for her own purpose and survival. All of this in three hours, I'm traumatized.
