Name…that…(Tandy)…Heap! I just got it, and its a bit of a Frankenstein.
If it’s Tandy/Radio Shack-related, count me in! Some other things, too.

I can’t think of a better use of a Saturday evening.
We’ve got diskless OS/2 Warp RPL’d on the Tandy 2500 SX/25 from a Warp Server! Client and server both on Tandy computers, of course.
Finally got to work on my Tandy disk cartridge system for the TRS-80 Model 16. We have signs of life!
It’s a Friday night install party on the Tandy 2500 SX/25.
This Tandy 1500 HD has a dead hard drive, a floppy drive with the (notoriously) rotten belt, and no option ROM socket. But the stars aligned and I was able to hack in the XTIDE Universal BIOS in anyway…and boot over serial.
Did a dump of the ROM BIOS on the Tandy 2800 HD laptop this morning. In the first few bytes is the phrase: “No one confuses us with IBM”. 🤣
The Tandy 2800 HD has a full-size 3.5” hard drive in it. Full-size floppy, too! I guess that helps explain this thing’s heft. At least the drive is AT-IDE.
I saw the signs, and they opened up my eyes. I saw the signs… 😁 These old Radio Shack store signs really tie things together.
Welcome to my TRS-80 Models 12/16 format party. It’s quite the raucous affair…no tops!
I can’t be the only person who enjoys a good DeskMate tutorial every now and then…
Windows NT 4.0 Workstation on a Pentium II laptop.👌
I don’t know about you, but I think DeskMate 3 looks pretty good on the TRS-80 Model 12! It’s just a screenshot from the DOS version, but still…
Setting up a dual-boot situation on the Tandy MMPC Model 20. Feels like the first time…
It’s upgrade time! MS-DOS 6.2, here we come!
In 2024, how often does one get to install XENIX on original hardware…with factory installation disks and the original documentation binders? I don’t know, but this is an opportunity I can’t miss!
Not long ago, I finally caved and bought a Hakko desoldering gun. I don’t know how I lived without it for this long!
“You won’t regret liking this photo.” 😁
Good morning from (most of my) Tandy Color Computers! And the Tandy 3000 NL…
The worldwide outage has struck my computer room! No computer is safe!! 😁
