@sos nice thread! How is it going with CLion? Switched from it to VS a couple of years ago for the usual reasons (sluggish, quickly degrading performance also on small projects, addition of AI "tools"), is it better this days?

@aras @sndels yeah that makes sense. Those two feel a bit more tangential to a games tech education, but I think people particularly interested in graphic programming would like to have the opportunity to mess with them.
Thanks!

@aras this seems super cool! Are you aware of similar, production scale, spatial/geometric datasets for different genres? (Specifically, something not so tightly tied to guns)

Regardless, this is gonna be great not only for research, but also educational purposes.

@jalict ah that's a pity we missed each other! I'll try to bring it with me more, so maybe next time!

The SDK is incredibly simple but deceptively powerful, and incredibly well designed. It was a delight to work with it.

I got this playdate console a few years ago, from the cool people at modl.ai while I was working there, and now j finally managed to dive into it!

Developed a simple, small, slow-paced bullet hell game over the weekend at Nordic Game Jam, and I'm super happy with the result

A slow-paced bullet hell playing on a Playdate console

In a bit more than one hour I'll give a talk at Nordic Game Jam!

Cool math tricks that are used all over in game dev, for everyone. Drop by if you are around, ESPECIALLY if you don't have a background in mathematics or programming 😀
