I’m an #Englishteacher living in #Japan, where I’ve lived for the past 20 years. I teach in public schools as well as teaching college level courses in English as well as translation.
I have a #DiplomaTesol and have worked in education for over 20 years. In addition to work in the classroom, I’ve also been doing #curriculum design and am also working on online resources for learners.
I am a #travelphotographer as well as the occasional #ruinsexplorer

Is it mandatory to post about when you have sex here like on twitter?
Nezu Shrine (根津神社), one of the most beautiful smaller shrines in Tokyo and worth a visit all year round, especially to see how it looks amidst the changing seasons #photography #fallcolors #japan #nezu #shrines
Along the street in Tokyo. This hill, Sansakizaka, is an old path leading up from Nezu Shrine (根津神社) to I believe what used to be a tram terminal. Along the way you can see some of the most beautiful scenes in Japan. #tokyo #photography #japan #downtown #retro #nostalgia
@meganswears I feel the same way, like I’m floundering around and finding almost no one

@amaranth I’m going to say no, not necessarily. It could be a pituitary issue as well but it could be an intersex condition. I’m not an expert except for my own situation. I hope someone who knows more than me can help

A lonely rainy day in #tokyo #photography #alleys
Yanaka, Tokyo has many faces. This slope has always been one of my favorites, since I first visited 20 years ago. There used to be a number of abandoned houses along the way but young entrepreneurs came in and refurbished several of them and turned them into cafes and shops. It’s really nice to see the area thriving now #japan #tokyo #downtown #yanaka #photography
@mooncube 48, I love the feel of mystery there
@a0dbxza that’s awesome!

@contrapoints exactly! So nice to see you here, btw. I love your YouTube videos. You helped give me the courage to come out
Hi. I’d like to ask a favor of everyone who reads this. I’m #intersex and I’m trying to raise awareness for intersex people in Japan, where we are basically ignored. There’s no awareness of our existence or the plight we face. Please click on this link and sign my petition, and if you can please share this as well. Thanks so much!

Yanaka Ginza (谷中銀座), is a beautiful, nostalgic strip of shops. Walking down the path is like traveling to postwar #tokyo.
You can grab a bite at local shops, some of which seem to have their prices set to 1960’s levels, like a stick of #yakitori for under ¥100. You can get a beer at a number of tiny izakayas along the way or even a shot of sake at a standing sake bar.
Or if you want, you can simply let yourself drift along in the atmosphere of this romantic street.
