Today, 27 April is International Girls in ICT Day and the theme for 2023 is Digital Skills for Life and through our Meet and Code initiative, we were able to expose over 40% of young women and girls throughout Europe to coding and other digital skills.
The @EU_Commission has declared 2023 to be the Year of Skills and we hope that the Commission will foster and support initiatives similar to Meet and Code in the EU to help support and develop the digital skills of children throughout Europe.

With the #WomenTechEU initiative, we are boosting innovation in Europe's female-led deep-tech sector.
Last week, we announced a list of 134 women-led companies that will receive €75,000 to kickstart their innovation process, including in mentoring and networking opportunities.
