Day 1101 of learning how to draw: got stuck reading webtoons again.
Video Game Developer. Used to be part of the team working on Death Trash.
Currently learning how to draw human beans (or something like that).
Day 1101 of learning how to draw: got stuck reading webtoons again.
Day 1100 of learning how to draw: didn't really like this one when looking at it on paper, but now that I see it as a photo, it's all right.
Day 1099 of learning how to draw:.
Day 1098 of learning how to draw: I think the arm pit is a tad too high.
Day 1097 of learning how to draw: it's now officially 3 years of drawing at least a line (or doing something at least comparably artistic) every single day. And nothing more fitting to celebrate this, than screwing up the size/position of today's drawing, and not bothering with redoing it.
Day 1096 of learning how to draw: some issues with the triceps, but definitely a massive improvement.
Day 1095 of learning how to draw: I know this looks a bit shit. But I swear I've put in several hours of work since yesterday. The entire construction is too heavy for the pieces to work in combination. But I think I got all the relevant muscles figured out now. Except for the precise mechanisms of the flexor tendons in the fingers. But I think I can live with that.
Day 1094 of learning how to draw: wanted to build an arm, and use some strings to simulate muscles. Many hours later, I am still missing a thumb and some articulation in the wrist, but I'm very happy with the range of motion in the shoulder and especially the elbow.
Day 1093 of learning how to draw: I watched the tutorial on the lower arm. There are only three muscle groups to really car about. Yet I am absolutely overwhelmed, and definitely need to re-watch.
Day 1092 of learning how to draw: still don't really understand the upper arm muscles, but I think I'll move on to the lower arm.
Day 1091 of learning how to draw: still tired.
Day 1090 of learning how to draw: it's almost 5 am. I'm on a long train ride back home after watching the Eurovision finale at a friend's house on the other side of the city. The sun is rising, but not quite visible yet. I'm still feeling the drinks I've had. I'm incredibly tired. I'll go to bed when I'm home, so I'm doing today's drawing on my phone.
Day 1089 of learning how to draw:.
Day 1088 of learning how to draw: just spent somewhere between 5 and 6 hours in the kitchen making food. I'm exhausted.
Day 1087 of learning how to draw: ok, the 30 second figures are all right, but I used to be quite a bit better on the 2 minute ones.
@mizblueprint I did that too. To be fair, not in color and not yet for the triceps, but all the other muscles I've watched tutorials on. But as soon as I try to draw from a photo reference rather than constructing it on top of the bones, it goes from somewhat confident to mostly guesswork at what exactly I'm looking at.
Day 1086 of learning how to draw: better.
Day 1085 of learning how to draw: I think I know which muscle here is which, but I'm not 100% sure.
Day 1084 of learning how to draw: decided to retry the drawing from two days ago.
Day 1083 of learning how to draw: bottled some self made plum liquor experiments today. Different base spirits and different sweeteners. For one batch I used undiluted 70% alcohol - making the resulting liquor somewhere below 50% abv. It doesn't taste like that at all. So I marked it with this clear label.
