Day 1116 of learning how to draw: what a neck.
Video Game Developer. Used to be part of the team working on Death Trash.
Currently learning how to draw human beans (or something like that).
Day 1116 of learning how to draw: what a neck.
Day 1115 of learning how to draw: continuing talking about yakuza 3. I've finally left Okinawa, and it really feels like a yakuza game again. I think the main reason is the children. Yes, they are cute, and taking care of them sets the tone. But opposed to the yakuza bosses of kamurocho, only one of the kids even has something that could be considered a personality...
Day 1114 of learning how to draw:.
Day 1113 of learning how to draw: this drawing is a bit weak.
Day 1112 of learning how to draw: I guess that's gonna be my routine for the next couple of days: play yakuza 3 till way too late, and then draw something (hopefully not horrible) in a hurry before going to bed.
Also, tons of shirtless muscular men to use as reference in these drawings. Despite how much weaker it looks when compared to kiwami, I find myself thoroughly surprised by how detailed these models originally made for the PS3 can look.
Day 1111 of learning how to draw: a couple years ago I played yakuza kiwami 1 and 2,fell in love with them, and immediately went on to yakuza 3 remastered. Didn't get too far with it, seeing how it is a noticeable downgrade design wise and graphically. Also the slow start of the story was a bit of a turn off, coming from the hype ending of kiwami 2. Now, a long time later, I'm finally getting back into it, not constantly comparing to the sequel, and enjoying the slow start. Playing till 2 am...
Day 1110 of learning how to draw: what the hell is that lower body?
Day 1109 of learning how to draw: been a while since the last time I did one of these.
Day 1108 of learning how to draw: no artificial contour lines, no shading, and a mostly good result (I mean, look at that hand). I think I'm getting there.
Day 1107 of learning how to draw: the soft shading looks good on photo, but it feels a bit like a cop out of clearly separating the forms when trying to learn the anatomy.
Day 1106 of learning how to draw: there's something about the lower arm towards the wrist, where I'm kinda unable to clearly separate the shapes the right way. Other than that: looong thumb.
Day 1105 of learning how to draw: gonna do some more detail on this tomorrow.
@scavello not bad, not bad :D Keep it going, and it'll get even better.
Day 1104 of learning how to draw: on my way to a birthday party. Will be home really late, so I'm doing today's on the train. Weather is wonderful.
Day 1103 of learning how to draw: hands are hard.
Day 1102 of learning how to draw: for how quickly I drew this, it's quite good.
Day 1101 of learning how to draw: got stuck reading webtoons again.
Day 1100 of learning how to draw: didn't really like this one when looking at it on paper, but now that I see it as a photo, it's all right.
Day 1099 of learning how to draw:.
