Some depressing observations about #COVID19 vaccine coverage in the US:

On one hand, vax coverage is up a bit (21.5% this year vs 18% last), but…

- That means the vast majority of Americans haven't been vaccinated in over two years.

- Most of the gains are in older people. People 18-29 are at 9% this year vs 7.6% last year. People over 75 are at 47.6% vs 32.1%. (It's good older people are being protected, but we know younger people suffer chronic issues from COVID, too.) (1/4)

@ProPublica another cool way to protect yourself from animal-borne illness is to not eat dead animals.
