I already said it when "number one girl" was released, but the album "rosie" by artist Rosé also feels just like something straight from 2002. Not just inspired, but as if it's from the era. A lot of the songs could be given to early Christina or Avril and it would feel as if it was written for them. There are even songs giving me the vibe of something Destiny's Child in the late 90s wouldn't release as a single, but it'd slap somewhere on an album.
It's funny to me how different APT. is compared to the whole album, considering it's the song that gets most people interested.

I'm also aware that I shouldn't compare artists in that way, but I consider it high praise because I'm very fond of that era of pop music. I can say with confidence that "rosie" is one of my AotY.

@neatchee She's not the type that's very vocal about such things. She's more about the stories itself. But she spent a lot of time on every page to fully grasp the art. At least during volume 1 and 2.
She still prefers creating her own visuals with books but wasn't against the format itself.

Oh, and she had to ask about the reading order of panels in the beginning, but got used to it pretty fast.

Update:

She finished the last volume today and liked it for the most part. She's happy with the ending and all the parts leading up to it.
She also liked most characters. Her favorites were Tenma, Nina and Reichwein. Oh, and she hates Eva with a passion!?
She's also really mad about the fact that the real names were never revealed 😅😅

@gnitro It definitely was an experience for her. I'm glad she took the chance and found something new to enjoy.

My mother is currently visiting. On Saturday evening, she "complained" about not having anything left to read. I took the chance and gave her her first Manga ever. She's 57 right now and has never tried it so far. Well, two days later and she is about to finish the series. Seems like Monster actually works for everybody 😁😁 #Manga

#PenAndPaper - Starting a new adventure with some friends soon. Tomorrow, we'll come together to finish our characters. I still haven't found the time to write the backstory, but luckily, I already made 10 potential avatars on picrew. I'm an absolute powerhouse in finishing tasks on time 🙄🙄😅

I'm currently trying to get back into shape and it's definitely not because I get back into visiting concerts (last one was December 2019) and some of them need at least 200% energy to survive 😅 😅

Had to cancel a trip next weekend, but I took the chance to invest the saved money into concert tickets. To be honest, I'm way more excited for this opportunity 😍😍
