Well, this person had been using one for heat in her living room. I broke down the ramifications of doing so, and BAP I was mansplaing. I’d tried to frame it as helpful advice and genuine concern from a professional (former), but I suppose I failed.

Part of HVAC is Heating and Ventilation. I took my job seriously, as people’s health and safety was in my hands, literally. I guess some folks just believe that since they’ve been doing it for years and they were still healthy, that I am just wrong and should shut up. I did and walked away from the person saddened. When they become ill, they probably won’t even connect the dots. There are so many things that cause cancer these days, so…

I would not suggest lying on the floor in your current condition, at all! 😂 Save that for when you’re recovered.

I’ve never been a fan of infloor heating/cooling. Heating is ok, but cold floors, not so much. I do like the idea for garages though. Don’t get me started on HVAC, I used to do that for a living in my younger years and I got accused of mansplaining once for expressing concern for someone’s safety for using a kerosene heater inside their home. 😫

The cold gets to me as well. Auntie PJ is the opposite, always hot. I can appreciate the desire for a nice warm rock, because the house is always cold!

I’m not certain how many time zones @PixysJourney and I are apart, but it’s nigh on 7 hours. I’m on EST in the US, so… whatever that is. ☺️

@jlperuyero I have to be careful of my reading habit. I get engrossed and have been late for things way too many times. I wouldn’t trust myself with a thickness x font size calculation. I could be late for my own birth!

@UnclePJ that's so amazing. I had done something similar with my phone recently; I was watching TV on it, and then reached for the remote and realized there was no "remote" even close by.

It’s been humid here as well. Warmed up and then rained and it’s a bit drizzly out here today as well. I don’t know that we’ve received as much rain this year as you two, but we’ve our fair share. 💦 💦 everywhere!

@felis_catus_domesticus My book collection is quite small, considering those of others. Maybe under 100 physical books and countless ebooks and audio titles. The latter two are certainly less maintenance intensive.
