Submissions for Poetry Month 2026 are open!

#Writing #Poetry

The Voice of Dog is looking for submissions for Poetry Month 2026.
This coming April, we again will feature the work of furry poets, and those who'd like to become furry poets.
Entries may be in any verse form, no minimum length. Voice of Dog standards, as ever, apply: ender 5k words, no bigotry, no generative AI, etc.
Broadcast dates will be assigned once submissions closed.
The maximum episodes we intend to produce is 13, as that's how many broadcast days are available this coming April.
SUBMISSIONS WILL CLOSE WHEN AND IF WE REACH THIS MAXIMUM.
Submissions are open until March 1st, 2026, or until the submission cap is reached, whichever comes first. For more information, and for submission templates, contact Rob MacWolf on discord, telegram, bluesky, or at mywaywardson@gmail.com

Fideli the fox is torn between his affection for the otter prince Kuniwin and his loyalties towards his imprisoned mother Luzia.

Today’s story is the first of two parts of Letters to Luzia by Casterway, a young ursine writer whose obsession with history led him to join the Furry Historical Fiction Society. You can find this story, among others, in the Early Modern anthology “The Wideness of the World,” available later this week. Casterway originally entered the field of writing by way of fanfictions about Redwall and the Elder Scrolls which could be found on AO3, and he can also be contacted on Bluesky.

Read by Dralen, the Dapper Dragonfox, and Khaki, your Faithful Fireside Companion.

All of captain Soot's confidence is shaken when a shift starts to go horribly wrong, and the ghosts of the past demand attention…

Tonight’s story is “Code White” by @makyo, whose graphomania occasionally gets the best of her. She is the author of a round dozen books, with her most recent, Idumea, telling of the escape from samsara in a digital world.

Read by Kergiby, a Full Time Panther.
