American media also disgraced themselves at the G7 in Canada. Trump's performance was truly pathetic & embarrassing. Pushing Putin talking points, re-writing history on why Russia was kicked out of the G7, fumbling a simple photo op by dropping papers on the ground and watching while the UK PM scrambled to save him, mistaking the UK for the EU, and fleeing before Zelensky's arrival. A total gong show. All normalized as just another day in Trumpland.
The White House media corps is compromised. Jen Psaki says the media "fell for" Trump's 'two week' schtick. But they know better--they just go along to get along and get access. Pathetic.

The shooting in Minnesota has so many disturbing elements. First and foremost it's a targeted political assassination that gives republicans the balance of power in a state legislature.
