This is the problem. This is where we are at. Paired with the degradation of public education over the last 40 years. It will be a miracle if to break the strangle hold of billionaires.
@randulo I remember when that happened. Death of peaceful protesters rarely works out well for authorities.

@randulo cool story.
@randulo AI is going to cause a huge mess. Then leave humans to clean it up.
@ADignorantium GUILTY!
@randulo technology isn't good or bad, it's how we use it that is helpful or harmful.
Decades ago someone remarked how Jefferson would have been in awe of TV. The ability for every citizen to have news and information in their homes. Sadly much of the news has (at least in the US) become infotainment.
Much the same can be said about the Internet and "social media."
It takes a while for people to catch-up, and adjust their information filters.
@dianea I could see one of my cats doing that.
@randulo I found when I seriously limited carbohydrates I could go all day with out eating. The flight from LAX through San Francisco to Rome I didn't eat until dinner in Sorrento.
It can be a little harder at home when there is food in the house that will go bad if not eated soon. It one of the side effects of having parents that grew up in a one horse down during the depression, and my mother had to feed her two young sons with a ration book.
@dianea that's a new take on "hot pants".
My mate was upset when he was diagnosed with delusions of being a hypodermic needle. He was up in arms!
I had a friend do his back in in 79
@paul_ipv6 absolutely agree
Interesting. Victorian Photoshop!
When you look close you can see it.

I am all for this. Driving in LA, and elsewhere in California is like watching a NASCAR race through your windshield.
@randulo with out clicking through. Thai?
My wife shouted to me "I think I'm giving birth to a baby goat!"
I said "Are you kidding?"
