@Leadegroot @mike everything gets bought with paid support, once vendor or 3rd party won't support it, out it goes or too $$$ to support. Nobody will accept the risk of an unsupportable system.

Bare servers have iDRAC passwords etc, so *everything* goes to the ewaste crusher mob

@Leadegroot @mike none of our decomm'd hardware is allowed to leave the premises, other than into an "approved hardware crusher/destroyer". Frustratingly, that can include 3-5yr old running hardware that's only problem is being out of warranty
