Brettspielbilanz 2024 (inkl. Boardgame Arena)

I don’t want a computer with adverts in the task bar or menu, on which I can’t run my own software freely and easily, or which I can’t repair myself.
I don’t want an eReader which snitches on my reading, or which can remove my books.
I don’t want to use a proprietary third party service and app for my dishwasher.
I don’t want a car which can be controlled remotely via someone else’s servers.
@prehnra yes you would change the constant also. But when you have a constant you can use the rename refactoring of your IDE instead of search & replace over the whole code base. Furthermore most IDEs have a function "find usages" which shows you all references to this function.
@tastapod no idea what went wrong here, then check out the screenshot I attached here.
Especially part 3 resonated with me. I give a talk called "7 habits of highly effective developers" where I apply Steven Coveys 7 habits to the life of a developer. I found many similarities between our talks.
@tastapod my fault, I didn't know that Mastodon has a setting where the answers should be private. I changed it, can you see my answers to the first post now?
@tastapod I liked it very much, it's the first of a series, just click the post and you should see the others being answers to this post.

@semicoop actually that's what I love about Agrícola - you really can mess it up if you're not cautious 😅.
