Well, all my workstations and servers though. Now I need to manually see for my hypervisors, routers, firewalls and other miscellaneous proprietary stuff
Network Engineer, hacker, sometimes dev, pilot-student (for now).(I like planes). I also have a problem with DNS and telephones (as in, the ones that do DRIIIIIIIIIIIING). IPv6 is the future. Doing things with stuff

Aaaand all my machines are up to date :-)
These ansible playbooks I wrote 5 years ago to automate my updates really have saved me a lot of time (and also allowed me to not forget any machine over the years)
My proposed talk for @why2025camp "Repair for Future" got accepted.
A lot happened since MCH2022
📽️. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wwqVpREo72o
so there will be more than enough content for an interesting 25 minutes.
I just hope that the speaker desk will leave a better impression than last time.
Found a better solution than to trash them. A local that was looking in trashbins to get bottles to return to get the money was passing around. Gave him all of it. He gets the money and I get to go back to Belgium without the payload 😊
Spent the afternoon looking for Mate. Didn’t find any. Was waiting until I was sure to find some to drop the old ones. Apprently, in Germany, when the shop closes at 22:00, it means that the drop-in machine closes at 21:30 (machine needs rest I presume…). So I m supposed to drive with this back to Belgium 😊 (given how much it has cost me in fuel, it may not happen twice. High chance I just throw all this in the trash at this point)
Today we installed the first fibre on the field (1km of single mode fibre)… thanks to everyone who helped out today! :)
Team:Content has been reviewing, a lot. And after 2 bags of licorice, 6 packs of mikado snacks, 2 bags of wasabi peanuts and loads of club mate, all CfP-submitters have received the verdict per email.
If your talk was accepted, please confirm it using the link to pretalx in the email!
Aaaand, talk confirmed. After the talk about DNS at #38C3 , new talk at @why2025camp 🙂 It will be about the current state of IPv6. I will start the prep work soon \o/
@acontios Vous brulez quoi/qui?
Hold on. Transparent PCB's? https://jlcpcb.com/blog/jlcpcb-launches-transparent-fpc-see-innovation-in-a-new-light
@acontios tu es malade? On te retiens prisonnier?
9 years hanging out in hackerspaces. 9 years doing various stuff with ESP’s Arduino’s network stuff, system stuff, soldering irons, basic electronics… yet, NEVER touched RGB led’s, even when having everything available (always the « yeah I will do that later »)
That changes today ! First RGB-strip with animations \o/ (and I feel like I want to buy more now to put them EVERYWHERE ! Is this normal ?)😜
@bortzmeyer Alors, moi, je l'ai bien vu passer. Les aquaplaning les plus terrifiants que j'ai eu de ma vie (combo autoroute Belge + flotte, ça fait bateau)
The anti-nuclear hysteria that captured the public imagination for generations has not only contributed significantly to climate change, it has literally been responsible for killing hundreds of millions of people.
Still, it is never too late to change course.
Aaaand 2 pull requests done !
Adding the Belgian e-ID reader software (under LGPL3) (one is for the eid-Middleware and the other one is for the eid-viewer) on the brew.sh package manager.
For once that we got public money public code, let's spread this instead of the closed it's-me system (apparently, my tax money goes through every it's-me login prompt)
@why2025camp they re sent the email today
🗼 Afnic is proud to announce its renewal by the Paris City Council of the technical management of the domain .paris. The .paris Top Level Domain will now be managed by way of a service concession.
